Adam was born and raised in West Valley City, Utah. He spent a lot of time playing sports, while growing up. He played football and baseball at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City and had a very successful high school football career where he won 2 state championships and was a part of the all-state team. After a short college career, he decided he wanted scrap football and start working in the entertainment industry.
In 2006 he co-founded Epicenter Entertainment, a live events and concert promotions company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. There, he created and produced legendary concerts for names like Rihanna, LL Cool J, Mos Def and Talib Kweli, just to name a few.
He did really well with Epicenter but ended up taking an opportunity with Chick-fil-A as Marketing Director, where he was directly responsible for the companies record growth in Utah, back in the late 2000’s.While he really enjoyed his time at Chick-fil-A, he decided it was time to move on and return to building his own brands.
In 2015, Adam was approached by a large Hollywood studio about making a legacy film about his father who was one of the first black football players at Brigham Young University. Unfortunately, Adam declined the offer because it wasn’t a good deal for him and his family. After much thought, he decided to start his own streaming platform to keep control over his content.
As he got into the development of the platform, he realized how many other independent filmmakers need a viable solution that’s designed for their long term success. He then decided to take it a step further and build a platform for all independent filmmakers to share, promote and monetize their own content.
In November 2020 he founded Observable Universe Inc. and has been busy navigating the global startup community. In December 2020, Observable Universe placed 3rd out of 30 at the Gentlemen’s Factory worldwide Technology incubator for men of color in Brooklyn, New York. In April 2021, Observable Universe was selected as a featured startup at Collision “The Tech Olympics” in Toronto, Canada, where he received a ton of recognition. In June 2021, he got a mentorship with an executive at the Walt Disney Company, who is very impressed with what Adam has created.
Adam plans to keep pushing his brand and building the best product possible for these creators who are some of the most creative storytellers in the world.
